What is HSC Routine?
HSC Routine is the exam schedule for the Higher Secondary Certificate exam in Bangladesh. It is a timetable for Nine General Education Boards in Bangladesh. The routine tells students when each exam will be held. It includes the date and time for every subject’s exam. The HSC routine is very important. Students can plan their study based on the routine. HSC Exam 2025 Date
The exact HSC Exam 2025 date has been announced. Based on the Published HSC Routine 2025, the HSC and Equivalent exam will be started on 26 June 2025 and Ended on 10 August 2025. The HSC Practical Exam will be started on 11 August 2025 and ended on 21 August 2025.
The HSC Exam 2025 will be held in two shift. The Moring Shift Exam will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Evening Shift Exam will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Exam duration will be mentioned on Question Paper.

HSC Routine 2025
The HSC Routine 2025 Released on 19 February 2025. This Routine will be Applicable for the, Dhaka Board, Comilla Board, Rajshahi Board, Jessore Board, Chittagong Board, Barisal Board, Sylhet Board, Dinajpur Board and Mymensingh Board. The HSC Equivalent (Alim and HSC Vocational) Routine has also been Released for the Madrasah Education Board and Technical Education Board.
All these boards will publish their own HSC routine 2025. But, mostly the exam dates are similar for all boards.
According to the HSC Exam Routine 2025, the HSC and Equivalent Examination 2025 will be started on 26 June 2025. It will be ended on 10 August 2025. After that, the Practical Exam will be held from 11 August to 21 August 2025.

HSC Examination 2025
For the HSC Examination 2025, students need to follow some important instructions. These instructions are usually given in the routine and on the admit card. Some common instructions are:
- Examinees must be seated in the examination hall 30 minutes before the exam starts.
- The exam will be conducted in two parts: first, the multiple-choice questions (MCQ), followed by the creative/essay-based (theoretical) questions.
- For a 30-mark MCQ exam, the duration is 30 minutes, and for a 70-mark creative questions (CQ) exam, the duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- For exams that include practical subjects, the duration for a 25-mark MCQ exam is 25 minutes, and for a 50-mark CQ exam, it is 2 hours and 35 minutes.
- The exam will continue uninterrupted for the duration specified in the question paper. There will be no breaks between the MCQ and CQ sections of the exam.
- For exams commencing at 10:00 AM:
- 09:30 AM: Distribution of blank answer sheets and MCQ OMR sheets.
- 10:00 AM: Distribution of MCQ question papers.
- 10:30 AM: Collection of MCQ answer sheets (OMR sheets) and distribution of creative question papers. (For 25-mark MCQ exams, this time is 10:25 AM.)
- For exams commencing at 02:00 PM:
- 01:30 PM: Distribution of blank answer sheets and MCQ OMR sheets.
- 02:00 PM: Distribution of MCQ question papers.
- 02:30 PM: Collection of MCQ answer sheets (OMR sheets) and distribution of creative question papers. (For 25-mark MCQ exams, this time is 02:25 PM.)
- Examinees must take the exam according to the time allocated on the question paper.
- Examinees are responsible for collecting their admit cards from the head of their respective institutions.
- Every examinee must accurately write their roll number, registration number, subject code, etc., in the designated OMR form on the answer sheet and fill in the corresponding circles. Under no circumstances should anything be written within the margins, nor should the answer sheet be folded for any reason.
- Examinees are required to pass separately in the theoretical, multiple-choice, and practical sections (if applicable) of the examination.
- Each examinee is only permitted to participate in the examination for the subject(s) listed on their registration card and admit card. Under no circumstances are they allowed to participate in exams for subjects not listed.
- No examinee will be examined at their own college/institution. Seating arrangements will be allocated through examinee relocation.
- Examinees are permitted to use a general scientific calculator (non-programmable) during the examination. Programmable calculators are prohibited.
- Only the officer-in-charge of the examination center is permitted to use mobile phones. Examinees are prohibited from bringing mobile phones into the examination center.
