CUET Admission 2025
Admission Circular, Prospectus and Detail Roadmap has been Announced for CUET Admission 2025. Here are the important dates and times for CUET Admission 2025:
- Online Application Start Date: January 5, 2025 (Sunday), 9:00 AM.
- Online Application End Date: January 18, 2025 (Saturday), 11:59 PM.
- Last Date for Online Application Fee Payment: January 19, 2025 (Sunday), 5:00 PM.
- Publication of Eligible Candidates List: January 23, 2025 (Thursday), 5:00 PM.
- Admit Card Download Start Date: January 27, 2025 (Monday), 10:00 AM.
- Admission Test Date and Time: February 1, 2025 (Saturday).
- Group “Ka” and “Kha” (Written Exam – Math, Physics, Chemistry, and English): 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
- Group “Kha” (Drawing Test for Architecture): 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM.
- Publication of Merit List and Admission Guidelines: February 22, 2025 (Saturday), 5:00 PM.
Important Notes:
- The online application system will close on January 18, 2025, at 11:59 PM. No applications can be submitted online after this time.
- No separate letters will be sent to candidates. All information about admission will be available on the university notice board, website, and the admission website: https://admissioncuet.ac.bd.

Application Eligibility
To apply for the CUET Admission test 2024-2025, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
- You must have passed your Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent exam in 2021 or 2022. You need a GPA of at least 4.00.
- You must have passed your Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent exam in 2024.
- You need a combined GPA of at least 14.00 in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in your HSC or equivalent exam.
- You also need a GPA of at least 3.50 in English.
- If you are from an English version or foreign education board, you need to have equivalent grades in these subjects.
- For Biomedical Engineering, you need a GPA of at least 4.00 in Biology in your HSC or equivalent exam.
- If you have a GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level qualification:
- In your GCE ‘O’ Level exams, you need to have an ‘A’ grade separately in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
- You must have received your GCE ‘A’ Level certificate in November 2023 or later.
- In your GCE ‘A’ Level exams, you need to have an ‘A’ grade separately in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- For Biomedical Engineering, you need to have at least a ‘B’ grade in Biology in your GCE ‘A’ Level exams.
- If you have completed your Higher Secondary/equivalent exam in 2024 from a foreign educational institution:
- You must have studied for at least 12 years.
- You need to have at least 80% marks or equivalent grades separately in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English in your Higher Secondary/equivalent exam.
- You also need to have an average of at least 70% marks or equivalent grades in your Secondary/equivalent exam.
How to Apply
To Attend the CUET Admission Test 2025, you have to apply Online. Follow these steps to apply:
- First, go to the website: https://admissioncuet.ac.bd.
- If you are a new applicant, click on “Eligibility Check & Apply”. This will let you check if you are eligible to apply.
- Choose your education type. You can select: “HSC/Alim/Equivalent”, “GCE ‘O’ Level & ‘A’ Level”, or “Bangladeshi National (Foreign Institutions)”. If you passed HSC/Alim/equivalent, click on “HSC/Alim/Equivalent”.
- Fill in your education details carefully to check your eligibility. Enter your board name, passing year, SSC and HSC roll numbers, and registration numbers. Click “Check”. Make sure the information is correct. If you are eligible, the “Apply Now” button will show up. Click “Apply Now” to go to the next step.
- If you are eligible, click “Apply Now”. Register as a new user on the admission website using your mobile number and set a password. You will get an OTP to verify your mobile number. Your Login ID will be your HSC Registration Number. Use a mobile number that you will use for all future communication and you cannot change this number later.
- After creating an account, log in using your HSC registration number and password. You will see the application form. Fill in all the required information. Choose your group (“Group A” or “Group B”). If you are applying under a quota, select your quota and upload the required quota certificate in jpg format. If no quota is applicable, select “No Quota”. Upload a recent color photograph (not older than 3 months) and your signature as instructed. Click “Submit” after filling the form.
- After submitting, you will see an “Application Preview”. If you need to change anything, click “EDIT APPLICATION”. If all information is correct, check “I Confirm” and click “Pay Now”. You can pay the application fee now or click “Save & Pay Later” to pay later.
- To pay the fee, click “Pay Now”. You will be taken to the SSLCOMMERZ payment gateway. Choose a payment method (Debit Card/Credit Card/Mobile Banking/Internet Banking). Pay the application fee as shown below. After successful payment, you will see “Payment is successful”. You can then download your payment receipt and a copy of your application form.
Application Fees (excluding service charges):
- Group “Ka”: Engineering departments and Urban and Regional Planning Department: 1200/- Taka
- Group “Kha”: Engineering departments, Urban and Regional Planning Department, and Architecture Department: 1400/- Taka


CUET Eligible List 2025
All Applicants will not be given the opportunity to Take part the CUET Admission Test. A Fixed number of the Applicants can be participated in the CUET Admission Test 2024-2025. For this, CUET Eligible List 2025 will be Published.
CUET will make a merit list based on your grades in HSC or equivalent exams in these four subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, and English. They will use the total GPA in these subjects.
If two or more people have the same GPA, CUET will use these criteria to rank them:
- First, they will look at the total marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Math.
- Then, they will look at the total marks in Physics and Chemistry.
- Next, they will check the marks in Physics only.
- Finally, they will check the marks in Chemistry only.
From this merit list, the top 20,000 candidates will be eligible to take the admission test. However, all candidates who are at the 20,000th position on the merit list will also get a chance to take the test.
If you are not eligible for the admission test, you can log in to the Admission Portal and request a refund of your application fee (excluding processing fees).
If you meet the minimum requirements and have GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level results, you are eligible for the admission test.
If you meet the minimum requirements and are applying under a reserved quota, you are also eligible for the admission test.

CUET Admit Card 2025
If you are Eligible for the CUET Admission Test, you have to download the Admit Card. Without an Admit Card, you can not be participated in the Admission Test. Only Eligible Candidates can be download the Admit Card. CUET Admit Card 2025 will be available on 27 January 2025. Here is how to get your admit card:
- After the list of eligible candidates is announced, go to the website: https://admissioncuet.ac.bd.
- Log in to the Admission portal.
- Download your Admit card in PDF format.
- Print the Admit card in color on A4 size white paper.
- You must bring your Admit card to the exam hall. Without the Admit card, you will not be allowed to take the exam.
CUET Admission Test 2025
CUET Admission Test will be held on 1 February 2025. Please follow these instructions during the admission test:
- The syllabus for the written test for Group “Ka” and “Kha” will be based on the 2024 HSC syllabus for Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Functional English. For Architecture students in Group “Kha”, there will be an extra Free-hand Drawing test.
- For the written test, you must write your answers in the blank space below each question using a pen. If needed, you can also write on the blank white page on the left side. You can use a pencil for the Free-hand Drawing test.
- After the written test for Group “Kha” (Math, Physics, Chemistry, and English), you must submit your answer sheet. Then, the Free-hand Drawing test will start at 12:45 PM in the same seat.
- You are not allowed to bring mobile phones, smartwatches, or any other digital devices, geometry boxes, pencil boxes, scales, set squares, compasses, or bags into the exam hall.
- If you are found using unfair means or misbehaving with anyone in the exam hall, your exam will be cancelled. You will not be allowed to enter the exam hall 30 minutes after the exam starts. You cannot leave the exam hall within 1 hour after the exam starts.
- On the day of the admission test, you must bring your original HSC/equivalent exam registration card and the hard copy (color print) of your downloaded admit card.
- During the admission test, you can only bring pens, pencils, erasers, and calculators. You can only use the specific models of calculators mentioned in the instructions. You can bring a maximum of two calculators into the exam hall.
Marks Distribution
Here is the marks distribution for the CUET admission test 2024-2025:
- The admission test will be held on the same day for both Group “Ka” and Group “Kha”.
- Group “Ka”: This group is for admission to Engineering departments and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning.
- Subjects for the test are: Math, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
- The syllabus will be based on the HSC exam syllabus of 2024.
- English syllabus is Functional English.
- Group “Kha”: This group is for admission to Engineering departments, the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, and the Department of Architecture.
- Subjects for the written test are: Math, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
- The syllabus will be based on the HSC exam syllabus of 2024.
- English syllabus is Functional English.
- There is also a Free-hand Drawing test only for students applying to the Architecture department.
- Exam Duration and Total Marks:
- Both Group “Ka” and “Kha” written tests will be 2 hours and 30 minutes long and will have a total of 500 marks.
- Group “Kha” will have an additional 1 hour for the Free-hand Drawing test, which has 200 marks. So, the total marks for Group “Kha” will be 700.

CUET Admission Result 2025
After Completion the Admission Test, CUET Admission Result 2025 will be Released. According to the Admission Roadmap, the CUET Result 2025 has been Released on 20 February 2025. The Result will be Released through the CUET Admission website admissioncuet.ac.bd.
CUET will prepare merit lists based only on the total marks you get in the admission test.
There will be two types of merit lists. One combined merit list for all Engineering departments and Urban and Regional Planning. A separate merit list for the Architecture department.
CUET will publish separate merit lists for candidates who are applying under reserved quotas. For reserved seats, a maximum of two students will be admitted to each department based on their merit and department preference.

Final Admission
After Released the CUET Admission Result, Selected Candidates must be fill up the Subject Choice Form.
After the merit list is published, all eligible candidates can choose their preferred departments online through the admission website: https://admissioncuet.ac.bd.
You can submit your department preferences only once online. You will not be able to change it later. Detailed instructions on how to give preferences will be announced on the website when the results are published.
Departments will be assigned based on your merit position in the admission test and the preferences you have given.
Admissions will be held according to the merit list and admission rules on specific dates. These dates will be announced. After each admission round, the list of admitted candidates, vacant seats, and the list of candidates for the next round will be announced before the next admission date.
You need to submit preferences for Engineering and Urban & Regional Planning departments together.
If you are admitted to Engineering or Urban & Regional Planning and later want to switch to Architecture, you must cancel your admission in Engineering/Planning first to get admitted to Architecture. After that, you cannot get back into Engineering or Urban & Regional Planning.
Similarly, if you are admitted to Architecture and later want to switch to Engineering or Urban & Regional Planning, you must cancel your Architecture admission first. After that, you cannot get back into Architecture.
In both cases, you do not need to pay the admission fee again.
If seats are still vacant, the admission process will continue until the orientation day. If any seat becomes vacant due to cancellation, auto-migration will be done based on merit and preferences. If you get a department you prefer through auto-migration, you can stop the auto-migration process within a given time. Once you stop auto-migration, you cannot restart it.
After the final auto-migration, you must start classes in the department you are assigned to.
If you want to cancel your admission, you can do so up to 3 days before the orientation day following the university’s rules. To cancel after classes start, you have to follow university rules. In all cases, the admission fee you paid will not be refunded.
After being selected, visit the admission website: https://admissioncuet.ac.bd and log in to the Admission portal.
- Fill out the Admission form online.
- Provide your department preferences online.
- You must be present in person on the scheduled admission date to complete the final admission process.
