The GST Seat Plan 2027 will be released before the admission test of each unit. The B Unit (Humanities) test on 19 March 2027 comes first, followed by the C Unit (Commerce) and D Unit (Architecture) on 20 March and the A Unit (Science) on 27 March 2027.
Typically, the GST (General, Science, and Technology) authority publishes the detailed seat plan two days before the respective exam date. For instance, with the B Unit exam scheduled for 19 March 2027, candidates can expect the detailed seat plan to be available from about 17 March 2027. The centre is also printed on the admit card.
Students download their admit cards first, which mention the name of the exam center; the specific room numbers and detailed seating arrangements are only revealed through the official seat plan release.

Understanding the marks distribution is crucial for a strong performance. The admission test will be a 100-mark exam with a duration of one hour.
- Pass Mark: The minimum qualifying mark is 30.
- Safe Score: While 30 marks ensure a pass, securing admission into one of the universities generally requires a score of 60-70 marks. Top-tier subjects may require 70-80 marks.
- Negative Marking: Be cautious when answering. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks deducted for every incorrect answer.
