HSTU Admission 2025-2026
HSTU Admission 2025-2026 is open now. You can apply online from November 16, 2025 (4:00 PM) to December 19, 2025 (11:59 PM). For each unit, you need to pay 1000 Taka as application fee. If you want to apply for Architecture, you need to pay an extra 200 Taka. You must pay the application fee using “Nagad” mobile banking.
HSTU Admission Test Date
The HSTU Admission test will be held from January 26, 2026 to January 28, 2026. The detailed schedule will be announced later on the website. Please check the website for more information about the timing of the tests.
Application Eligibility
To Apply for HSTU Admission 2026, you must meet some specific Eligibiel Criteria.
- You can apply if you passed your HSC or equivalent exam in 2024 or 2025.
- If you passed your SSC or equivalent exam before 2022, you are not eligible.
For ‘A’ and ‘B’ Units:
- You must pass SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams from any education board in Bangladesh.
- You need a minimum GPA of 3.5 in both SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams.
- Your total GPA from SSC and HSC must be 7.50 or higher.
- If you want to apply to Agriculture, Fisheries & Veterinary and Animal Science Faculty, you need a minimum ‘B’ grade in your fourth subject in HSC/equivalent.
For ‘C’ and ‘D’ Units:
- You must pass SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams from any education board in Bangladesh.
- You need a minimum GPA of 3.0 in both SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams.
- Your total GPA from SSC and HSC must be 6.0 or higher.
- If you studied under a foreign board, you need similar grades.
For ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels:
- You need to pass at least five subjects in ‘O’ Level. You need a minimum ‘B’ grade in each subject.
- In ‘A’ Level, you need to pass at least three subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science. You need a minimum ‘B’ grade in each of these subjects.
How to Apply
HSTU Admission Application has been Started through the Admission website hst.ac.bd/admission. You have to apply online. The online application period is from November 16, 2025 to December 19, 2025. You have to pay an application fee for each unit. The fee is 1000 Taka per unit. If you apply for Architecture, you need to pay an extra 200 Taka. To Apply, follow those simple steps.
- Go to the HSTU website: https://hstu.ac.bd/admission/index.
- Fill out the online application form there.
- Pay the application fee using the mobile banking service “Nagad”.
- After payment, you will get an SMS with a Transaction ID.
- Save this Transaction ID.

HSTU Admit Card 2025
You can download HSTU Admit Card 2025 starting from 5 days before your specific unit’s exam until the exam begins. Download it from the HSTU website: https://hstu.ac.bd/admission/index. Before downloading, you need to upload a scanned copy of your passport-size color photo. The photo must be in JPEG format, the file size should be less than 50 KB and the photo should be recent.
- Bring two (2) copies of your recent passport-size photos with you on the exam day.
- Print your admit card on A4 size offset paper.
- Sign on the admit card in front of the invigilator during the exam, above the “Student Signature” line.
- You must have your admit card to enter the exam hall. No admit card, no exam.
Marks Distribution
The admission test will be based on a total of 125 marks. However, for Bachelor of Architecture, the total mark is 175.
For all programs except Bachelor of Architecture, marks are distributed as follows: 100 marks for the MCQ test and 25 marks based on your GPA in SSC and HSC exams. GPA marks are calculated from your grades including the fourth subject. 40% of the 25 marks will come from SSC GPA, and 60% will come from HSC GPA.
For Bachelor of Architecture program, there is an additional 50 marks for drawing. So, the total mark is 175 for Architecture. In the drawing test, you must get at least 15 marks to pass.
Pass Marks: You must obtain at least 30 marks in the admission test to be eligible for admission.
