MIST (Military Institute of Science and Technology) is offering undergraduate programs. These programs are in Engineering and Architecture. MIST Admission Circular 2025 has been Published and Application hs been started. Bangladeshi citizens can apply. You need to have passed HSC or GCE ‘A’ Level or equivalent exam. Your exam must be in Science Group. You can apply from Bangladesh or from abroad. This admission is for undergraduate programs at MIST.
MIST Admission 2025
MIST Admission application started on 30 December 2024 at 11:00 am. The application will end on 20 January 2025 at 11:59 pm. A list of selected candidates for the admission test will be published on 10 February 2025. The admission test will be held on 22 February 2025.
There are two units for the admission test: Engineering (Unit A) and Architecture (Unit A and Unit B). If you want to apply for Architecture, you need to appear in both Unit A and Unit B exams.
The Engineering admission test will be from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm. For Architecture, the test will be in two sessions. The first session is from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm and the second session is from 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm.
The admission test center is in Dhaka. More details about the center will be available on the MIST website. Tentatively, admission will start from 16 March 2025. Classes are expected to start from 08 June 2025.
Application Eligibility
To apply for MIST Admission 2025, you need to meet some qualifications. These are based on your previous education.
- For SSC or Equivalent: You must have passed your SSC or equivalent exam in 2021 or 2022. You need to be from the Science group. You need a minimum GPA of 4.00 out of 5.00 (without the 4th subject).
- For HSC or Equivalent: You must have passed your HSC or equivalent exam in 2023 or 2024. You need a total Grade Point of 18 in four subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. You also need to have a minimum Grade Point of 4.0 in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry individually.
- For GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels or Equivalent:
- ‘O’ Level: You must have passed in 2021 or 2022. You need a minimum ‘B’ grade or equivalent in five subjects. These subjects must include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
- ‘A’ Level: You must have passed in 2023 or 2024. You need a minimum of three ‘B’ grades or equivalent in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- For Biomedical Engineering: To apply for Biomedical Engineering, you must have Biology in your HSC or equivalent level. You need a minimum grade point of ‘A minus’ in Biology in HSC or a minimum grade point of ‘C’ in Biology in GCE ‘A’ level or equivalent.
How to Apply
To apply to MIST Admission 2025, you need to submit an online application. The application is only available on the MIST website.
- First, go to the MIST Admission website (mist.teletalk.com.bd) and fill out the online application form. After you submit the form successfully, you will get a USER ID.
- You need to pay an application fee. For Engineering programs, the fee is Tk 1000. For Architecture programs, the fee is Tk 1200.
- You need to pay the fee using a Teletalk pre-paid mobile phone. Send an SMS to 16222 using your Teletalk number. Make sure you have enough balance in your mobile to pay the fee. You will use the USER ID you got earlier in the SMS.
- After you pay the fee successfully, you will receive a password via SMS. Keep this password safe. You will need this password to download your Admit Card later.
- If you are eligible, you can download and print your Admit Card using this password.

MIST Eligible List 2025
MIST will publish a list of eligible candidates for the admission test. This is called a short list. There will be two short lists. One list is for students who passed HSC this year (current year). Another list is for students who passed HSC last year. These short lists are to select candidates for the written admission test. Only those who are on the short list can appear in the written admission test.
The MIST Eligible List 2025 has been Released on 13 February 2025. Check it through the admission website https://admission.mist.ac.bd.
MIST Admit Card 2025 Download
MISTAdmit Card 2025 are ready to Download. Only Eligible Candidates can be Download the Admit Card. It can be Download through the mist.teletalk.com.bd website. Authority will be informed about the admit card to the applicants via SMS. After getting the SMS, login with your User ID and Password and Download the Admit Card.
Admission Test Date, Time, Venue and Address are mentioned on the Admit Card. Please follow the Admit Card Instruction option carefully. Bring Necessary things and do not do the bring the prohibited items.
Marks Distribution
The admission test will have questions in both English and Bangla. You can answer in either language.
Unit A (Engineering and Architecture):
- Mathematics: 90 marks
- Physics: 70 marks
- Chemistry: 30 marks
- English: 10 marks
- Total marks for Unit A: 200
The exam time for Unit A is 3 hours. The syllabus will be from your HSC 2024 book or similar books.
Unit B (Architecture):
- Freehand drawing and Visual-Spatial Intelligence: 200 marks
The exam time for Unit B is 2 hours.
MIST Admission Result 2025
To pass the MIST admission test, you need to get at least 40% marks in both Unit A and Unit B written tests separately.
MIST will prepare a merit list to select students. This merit list will be based on your marks in different exams. 60% of the merit will be from your written test score. 20% will be from your HSC or equivalent exam marks in Higher Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Another 20% will be from your SSC or equivalent exam marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
If you passed HSC in 2023, 5% marks will be taken off from your written test score. After this, a combined merit list will be made. This combined list will be used for admission and to decide which department you will be placed in. Similar rules will be followed for students from English medium or with equivalent qualifications.
After the Evaluation Process, MIST Result 2025 will be Released through the admission.mist.ac.bd website.
